What you’ll do:
Leader of a 32 bed Telemetry and medical surgical UnitOversees daily operationsOversees quality of patient care to assure delivery of individualized nursing careOversees patient care delivery to maximize patient/family satisfaction and minimize risk of injury or negative outcomes to patients or employees while serving as a resource for staffOversees staffing complement and budget managementCoordinates orientation and/or training for teamResponsible for driving patient care across the continuum through leadership of disciplinary care rounds and care managementQualifications
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our stateBSN required from an accredited nursing programMinimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experienceTwo years in charge or leadership position within last five years in a hospital setting. Five years recent nursing experienceBasic Life Support (BLS) requiredACLS required within 6 monthsSpecialty certification required within 6 monthsAdditional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas
