GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Provides leadership for the HealthWorks department, including marketing the HealthWorks program, managing patient flow, ensuring quality of clinical services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing all HealthWorks staff in order to provide quality, cost effective, accessible services for patients and clients; plans, organizes, directs, implements and evaluates the operations of the department.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages daily operations of the Occupational Medicine clinic including patient flow, service fulfillment, ensuring timely completion of all required documentation and medical records, managing all staff and staff related processes (hiring, scheduling, performance management, performance evaluation, employee relations. (50%)Attends required management meetings and reports critical information to staff. (5%)Assists in planning the annual operational, manpower and capital budgets for the department; operationalized budget plan to achieve plan outcomes; assures accuracy of financial records and transactions, and addresses variance to budget. (5%)Evaluates and documents patient history, assists with physical exams, reviews drug test results and communicates reports to clients in timely manner. (15%)Assists with marketing the HealthWorks program; ensures client/customer relations; ensures patient satisfaction and patient quality outcomes. (25%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

5 years working in occupational health setting and/or management experienceKnowledge of workers' compensation laws, OSHA, DOT and other occupational health safety regulatory agencies

Preferred

RN licensure in the State of PA preferred; Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT), Certified Hearing Conservationist, Certified Occupational Health Nurse, Certified DOT collector and NIOSH training for spirometryEmergency department nursing experience
