Manager of Accounting
Description We are offering an opportunity for an experienced Manager of Accounting to join our team in the banking industry, located in North Dallas, Texas, 75013, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and overseeing various accounting functions, leveraging your technical skills, and ensuring the efficient operation of our finance department. Responsibilities: • Oversee the processing of company transaction, including accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and billing functions. • Utilize your extensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions to maintain and improve our financial systems. • Implement and manage ADP - Financial Services to streamline payroll and other financial services. • Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) to enhance our accounting functions and improve financial reporting. • Ensure that all financial activities adhere to the company's policies and regulatory guidelines. • Manage and mentor members of the accounting team to promote a culture of continuous improvement and detail oriented growth. • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. • Use your strong technical skills to improve accounting processes and systems. • Ensure that the company's financial practices align with the culture and strategic goals of the company. • Leverage your knowledge of the banking industry to provide insights and recommendations for financial planning. Requirements • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Software Systems • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services • Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions • Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is essential • Must have a deep understanding of Accounting Functions • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience in Auditing is required • Should be able to handle Billing Functions • Ability to work in a fast-paced banking environment • Strong communication and leadership skills • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required • Several years of experience in a managerial role in the accounting sector • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Must have excellent attention to detail • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines • Proven track record of managing a team effectively.
