Manager of Asset Protection Solutions Technology
Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's asset protection solution (APS) systems. Leads a team of analysts and works closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure APS systems' successful integration and utilization. Manages the development and maintenance of applications for Asset Protection Services to support departmental activities. Evaluates company systems and equipment based on ability, capacity, and strategic enterprise needs. Acts as the technical liaison to the business users. Responsible for managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and ensuring compliance.

Job ResponsibilitiesDesigns and implements innovative APS system processes or changes that support the goals of the function or department, including, but not limited to, the development/revision and submission of guidelines and procedures to enhance the quality of service and support.Manages a team to configure and troubleshoot hardware and software to support the operational needs of the Asset Protection Solutions department. Contributes to database query, optimization, and design activities.Responds to questions from customers, Company personnel, and vendors regarding technology applications and other related issues.Performs as liaison to internal IT resources, including those dedicated to Asset Protection Solutions and those that intersect with major IT systems (e.g. POS, Cash Management).Drives resolution of program conflicts and supports escalated calls for immediate problem resolution.Manages external vendor partner relationships, including vendor selection process, due diligence, negotiation, service level agreement creation and monitoring, and performance management.Manages external vendor invoicing and payments.Oversee the delivery of ongoing training and communications to stakeholder groups through presentations, written communication, interactive workshops, and other forms of media.Responsible for developing and mentoring staff through onboarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities. Builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.Manages day-to-day activities of a group of employees. Assigns, monitors, and reviews progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts, and provides technical guidance on more complex issues. Oversees and initiates the hiring, firing, and performance review processes.About Walgreens and WBA
