Compensation includes a base salary of $108,800.00 - $181,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager to lead our project management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee development and team leadership, combined with a passion for process and operational improvement. This role will oversee a team managing projects across a range of hosted cloud services, including IaaS, DRaaS, AVD, O365, and more. In addition, the Manager will implement processes to support strategic company objectives and new product offerings. The successful candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and be a strong advocate for the project management team. They will identify opportunities for improvement, foster strong cross-functional relationships, and ensure the team remains high-performing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the ongoing implementation and improvement of internal and external processes and procedures
Lead and manage internal initiatives as needed
Collaborate with accounting teams to enhance billing processes and improve efficiency
Provide leadership and accountability across departments, including Accounting, Product/Marketing, Service Delivery, and Account Management
Guide team members in setting individualized goals and career development plans in partnership with leadership
Lead the team to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets
Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with direct reports to track progress, provide support, and ensure continuous career growth
Manage internal and external escalations, ensuring timely and productive resolution
Continuously monitor and innovate team performance to drive excellence
Qualifications and Attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field (i.e. Project Manager/Program Manager). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year experience in a related field; or 10 years’ experience in a related field
1+ year of experience in management or lead role
Strong knowledge of project management principles and the commercial aspects of project delivery
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Proven track record in process creation and improvement
Experience translating strategic goals into actionable plans and integrating changes into existing workflows
Strong leadership qualities, with an empathetic approach and a deep understanding of both individual and business needs
Ability to coach, develop and mentor team members as we grow and scale our customer base
Familiarity with hosted cloud technologies (e.g., IaaS, DRaaS, AVD, O365)
Experience working at a Managed Service Provider would be preferred
