Position Description
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Manager of Development, Service and Outreach Liaison spearheads the development and coordination of community sponsorship / partnership program activities including executive level relationships with community and municipal/government stakeholders. Works with Director of Development, Service and Outreach on corporate sponsorship and community relations initiatives for Northside Hospital.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain positive presence and relationships with school systems. Ensure Northside investments are spent in appropriate areas that align with organizational values and direction that serves the growth plan. Ensure that Northside community outreach programs connect to the correct segments of the community; consistently coordinates with Director of Development to define and achieve measurable strategic and meaningful community partnerships across the Northside Hospital system Work with Northside leadership and partners to develop and grow the Sports Medicine Service line strategically inside and out of the Northside footprint. Attend applicable banquets/functions on behalf of Northside Hospital. Maintain and improve meaningful relationships with organizations such as GHSA, Stripers, Georgia Gwinnett College, Parks & Recreation, BOEs, and other community and municipal/government executive leaders to support objectives and goals. Develops, participates in community partnerships, coordinating events and activities as necessary; serves as hospital liaison/representative at various community events and on select external committees and boards, i.e.: Chamber Board. Manages production and inventory of marketing/promotional needs (specialty items, banners, displays) utilized for partnerships and events; monitors and ensures timely sponsorship payments.Position Requirements
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience carrying out community benefit initiatives, program planning, implementation and evaluation. Ability to work collaboratively with community members and other organizations. Ability to work collaboratively with the other departments or groups in the organization that are essential to carrying out the organization’s community benefit work including accounting, strategic planning, charity outreach, service line leadership, and marketing. Candidate must possess strong leadership, people and demonstrated interpersonal skills; excellent time management; organization and communication skills both oral and written. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED Master’s Degree preferred.Service Area Overview
