Position Overview
RapidScale is seeking an experienced Manager of Digital Advertising to oversee and execute a comprehensive digital advertising strategy across multiple platforms. This role will focus on account-based marketing (ABM), search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social advertising, and other digital media channels to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and brand visibility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data-driven marketing, a deep understanding of digital ad platforms, and the ability to optimize campaigns across channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Account-Based Marketing (ABM):
Develop and implement ABM strategies to target high-value accounts, working closely with sales and customer success teams.
Analyze Intent Data to create tailored ad campaigns that resonate with specific audiences and buying group members.
Optimize ABM campaigns using data insights to ensure high engagement and conversion rates.
Analyze performance metrics and adjust budgets, targeting, and creatives to maximize ROI
Social Advertising:
Plan, execute, and manage paid social campaigns on platforms such as LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and others.
Develop audience segments tailored to different social media platforms.
Analyze performance metrics and adjust budgets, targeting, and creatives to maximize ROI.
Search Engine Marketing (SEM):
Lead SEM campaigns across Google Ads and other search platforms, including keyword research, bidding strategies, and ad copy development.
Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance to ensure the most cost-effective approach to driving traffic.
Implement strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive synergy between paid and organic search efforts.
Website Analytics and Search Engine Optimization:
Manage Google Analytics for RapidScale and provide timely reporting on website performance.
Recommend strategies to improve website performance through content development, design or promotional campaigns.
Build SEO strategy to ensure continual optimization of organic search rank and traffic.
Other Digital Media:
Manage digital advertising across display networks, video ads, and other emerging media channels.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop engaging content for various digital formats.
Work with analytics tools and platforms to track and report on the effectiveness of campaigns across all digital media.
Strategy & Budgeting:
Develop comprehensive digital advertising strategies aligned with overall marketing goals and business objectives.
Create and manage digital advertising budgets, ensuring effective allocation and cost efficiency across multiple campaigns and channels.
Track KPIs, prepare regular performance reports, and present insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Marketing, Business, Communications, etc) and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field
7+ years of experience in digital advertising, with a focus on ABM (Demandbase or 6Sense), SEM, and social advertising.
History of success with Demandbase (or similar ABM platform), Google Ads, YouTube, LinkedIn and X.
Although not central to this role, experience with Hubspot (or a similar Marketing Automation platform) is preferred.
3+ years of experience in Google Analytics and SEO optimization.
Strong understanding of digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
