Manager of HR Physician Services

The Manager HR Physician services will serve as the primary HR leader and senior business partner for the physician services division of LCMC Health. This role will have responsibility for providing innovative and business focused HR advisory services and support across the division and serve as the primary liaison for all HR related services. The Manager of HR Physician Services will drive strategy, culture, performance, and leadership capabilities across the workforce. This role will report to the Senior Director of HR Corporate & Physician Services.

General Duties

Advisor: Provides consultation to leaders and serves as an integral part of the leadership teams for Corporate and Physician Services.Strategy: Advise business executives and leaders on strategies that align with the organization’s culture and goals. Develop and implement strategies that support both long-term and short-term organizational goals.Culture: Drives a culture focused on the core values of the organization while driving performance excellence and business outcomes.Performance Analysis: Analyze business and employee performance metrics and trends to update or improve existing HR strategies.Mentorship and Coaching: Provide mentorship and coaching to HR teams and business executives to address business, cultural and people related issues.Data Reporting: Communicate progress with business executives to report on progress and outcomes.Team Oversight: Supervise HR Business Partners for the HR Physician Services group.Design strategies to increase organization performance and collaborate with HR functional partners to execute human resources strategies to enable business objectives and support future business growth.Facilitate and implement organization and leadership development efforts in partnership with executive management. Provide expertise in the areas of leadership and executive team development, organization effectiveness, and building leadership capability.Provide strategic HR leadership and consultation to create innovative people programs. Anticipate and assess emerging business, organization or people/cultural trends. Identify and implement the appropriate People /Inclusion solutions.Deliver HR services to executive leadership resulting in a seamless point of contact to the broader HR organization and ensuring successful integration of functional partner initiatives and expertise.Execute the Talent Management process to identify current and forecasted talent needs and, in partnership with other business partners, develop action plans to mitigate associated risk and improve confidence in future successor readiness to enable business objectives.Champions and supports the implementation of system-wide people initiatives. These initiatives include, but are not limited to: Succession planning, DEIB initiatives, leadership development, performance management, compensation programs, and organizational design and restructuring.Sponsors and champions cultural and change initiatives. Provides facilitation and change management consultation to senior leadership teams within the business unit(s).May be responsible for the oversight of any HR analysis and due diligence regarding acquisitions, mergers, and integrations.

Experience Qualifications

Required: 5+years of progressive experience in Human Resource management or Generalist position                                       5 years of Supervisory experiencePreferred: 2 years of recent Human Resources experience with close interaction with Physician Services divisions.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management or equivalent preferred.Experience may be substituted for formal education.

Licenses and Certifications

HR certification preferred.

Skills and Abilities

Proven experience in a variety of HR functional areas.Current knowledge of state, federal employment and labor laws.Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze information and apply critical thinking in order to make decisions and resolve problems.Ability to interpret policy and work with management and staff to properly interpret and enforce policies.Integrates the mission and vision of the organization.Identifies and defines problems, implements creative solutions and evaluates results.Ability to handle multiple demands and conflicting priorities.Ability to provide “real time” problem solving.
