Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Manager of Information Systems to oversee and optimize our site's IT and communications infrastructure. This role will lead a team of IT professionals, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Manager of Information Systems will lead and manage daily IT operations, overseeing MIS (Management Information Systems) customer service, infrastructure support, and project implementation * Develop and execute tactical and strategic objectives for IT operations, ensuring alignment with business goals * Supervise and support MIS leaders, senior supervisors, and other team members * Monitor projects and operational performance to maintain high service quality * Provide technical and administrative guidance to staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures * Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of key personnel * Manage budget planning and cost control for IT operations, including staffing, materials, and capital improvements * As a Manager of Information Systems, you will collaborate with site management, department heads, and other stakeholders to enhance IT service delivery * Evaluate and improve IT infrastructure, addressing technical and operational challenges * Ensure compliance with Freeport-McMoRan IT policies and industry regulations * Oversee third-party vendors, consultants, and contractors as needed * Perform other duties as assigned
