Reporting to the Regional Hub Director, this newly created role as Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is accountable for managing, hiring and developing a team of 10-15 Inside Account Managers (IAMs) and realizing a territory sales plan leveraging high velocity selling motions. This position focuses on coaching and developing sales talent, creating a demand generation plan to achieve quota and driving operational excellence with KPIs and continuous improvement plans.
This role must reside in the US and is required to be onsite out of our Chicago office 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Build Zebra’s new Inside Sales team and strategy to consistently achieve quota Recruit, interview and hire job applicantsManage and supervise daily activities and KPIs of the Inside Sales teamCoach and mentor Inside Sales representatives to enhance their selling skills and ensure consist best practice utilization Set individual and team goals, and track against those to drive operational excellence – course correct where neededCollaborate with enabling functions (marketing, sales ops, training, IT)Conduct performance reviews to improve rep performance and performance managing low-performers, as neededWork in-person from the inside hub in Chicago 5x/week to establish rapport with inside sales teamsFoster high performance culture: Results driven, resilient, accountable

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience8 + years of B2B sales experience selling technology-related offerings, ideally to also include sales leadership of teams (inside or outside sales) but not requiredMust reside in the US and be able to work out of Zebra’s downtown Chicago office 5 days per week. Little to no outside travel expected.

Salary: USD 110700.00 - USD 166100.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
