The Four Seasons Yacht I boasts 679 ft. in length // 34,000 Gross Tonnage// 95 Suites // 1:1 Guest/Staff Ratio

Each of the yacht’s 95 suites will offer panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows and access to expansive private terraces.

About the role

The Shoreside Manager of Inventory and Logistics is a key role in managing the procurement and logistics processes for the yacht's operational and hospitality needs. This position collaborates with the yacht's finance teams, hospitality teams, third-party procurement partners, and corporate procurement departments to ensure a seamless global procurement and logistics strategy with the ultimate goal of delivering exceptional quality products, on time and the best possible prices.  

 

What you will do

The Shoreside Manager of Inventory is responsible for overseeing the inventory / requisition management system, supporting master orders, and ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of necessary provisions, supplies, equipment, and operational materials.  

 

They will also manage the smooth operation of the yacht's startup periods, ensuring OS&E compliance and that the vessel is fully stocked for its various voyages, and contribute to the broader operational needs of the yacht's hospitality services. 

The Manager will collaborate with functional/department leaders for:

Multi-Team Collaboration: 

Collaborate with the shoreside hospitality teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination with the yacht’s shipboard hospitality team and third-party procurement partners. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory control and procurement processes, enhancing operational efficiency and mitigating (and/or minimizing) delays. 

Provide training and guidance to the inventory team to ensure adherence to best practices in logistics, inventory management, and corporate procurement standards. 

Procurement and Logistics Expertise: 

Develop and implement procurement strategies for yacht inventory, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of all provisions, supplies, and operational materials. 

Liaise with global suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to maintain seamless operations. 

Forecast operational needs, order quantities, and inventory requirements based on yacht schedules, seasonal changes, and operational needs. 

Operational Oversight: 

Oversee the daily management of inventory systems, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage of goods are adhered to. 

Coordinate the procurement of goods to ensure the yacht’s operations run smoothly, particularly during startup periods and when transitioning between ports. 

Ensure effective coordination between shoreside and yacht teams to guarantee timely arrivals and deliveries. 

Assist with onboard logistics, including the transportation of inventory to and from the yacht, ensuring compliance with international shipping laws and maritime regulations. 

Assist with air freight and special procurement needs according to operational requirements. 

Strategic Supply Chain Management: 

Collaborate with corporate procurement departments, ensuring yacht-specific needs are met while aligning with broader company supply chain strategies. 

What you bring

A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Advanced certifications or diplomas in procurement, inventory management, or logistics are considered ideal.

Additional knowledge in yacht or cruise operations is highly beneficial.  *BA or SHRM is an asset or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or procurement, ideally within a hospitality, cruise, or yacht operations environment. 

*Must have US work authorization to work in the Miami Corporate Office

Schedule & Hours:

*3 days per week hybrid working environment.

Occasional travel to the yacht or international ports may be required for logistical oversight and coordination Travel to Shipyard for launch.
