Job Summary:
This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company by supporting the development and execution of corporate strategies and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives across three business units. The role will support organic growth initiatives and successful M&A execution to enhance the organization's market position and competitiveness. The role will report to the VP of Global Strategy and be based in Philadelphia, PA.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Corporate Strategy:
Identify, screen, and prioritize opportunities for organic growth across all three business units and technology.Structure, launch, and support enterprise-level strategic initiatives partnering with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.Support ongoing market intelligence, strategic planning, innovation planning, and risk management activities.Partner with relevant internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs of the business from a strategic development standpoint.Give input into the enterprise-wide strategic objectives to deliver on corporate vision.M&A Strategy:
Assess the enterprise business portfolio, core capabilities, and upside opportunities.Evaluate potential expansions into adjacent markets, regions, and capabilities.Evaluate alternative acquisition scenarios, including synergies and risks.Present recommendations to senior leadership around potential M&A opportunities; along with relevant data to be considered in such decisions.Identify, screen, and prioritize a pipeline of M&A opportunities.M&A Execution:
Supports active M&A opportunities, including inbound opportunities.Evaluate synergies, risks, and strategic fit for potential M&A opportunities.Supports M&A processes, including diligence, negotiation, and transaction close.Coordinate integration planning and post-close integration management through coordination and supporting projects teams.Lead cross functional teams in to deliver of key strategic and project goals across multiple global projects.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, FP&A and/or mergers and acquisitions within a global manufacturing environment.Exhibit a proven track record of supporting the development of corporate strategies and supporting M&A transactions.Showcase strong data analysis and financial modeling skills.Possess in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry and global market trends.Have experience working with diverse teams across multiple business units and regions.Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills.Exhibit the ability to influence and collaborate with executive leadership.Our Company:
