Our team in Milford, MA, is seeking a qualified Manager of Operations for our Massachusetts territory. This position will be based in Millbury, MA, and will oversee all operational, maintenance, and improvement activities across six water systems serving 11,500 customers.
How you will contribute:
Manage all operational aspects of six water systems in Millbury, Oxford, Dover, and Plymouth, MA, ensuring the delivery of high-quality water Oversee the maintenance and operation of 20 wells, 12 treatment facilities, pump stations, distribution systems, and water storage tanks Supervise Field Service, Meter Reading, and Cross Connection Control functions Act as the Primary Operator for treatment and distribution in Millbury and Oxford, and provide direct management of supervisors for these roles in Dover and Plymouth Ensure compliance with federal and state drinking water regulations and maintain thorough documentation and reporting to MassDEP Manage the budget for operations and maintenance, ensuring financial control and adherence to procurement policies Collaborate with various departments on capital projects, customer service, and stakeholder communications Develop and implement emergency response plans and ensure staff training Foster a positive work environment for a team of 8 to 10 employees, ensuring their growth and developmentWhat we need from you:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is highly desirable Minimum of five years of experience in operations, water production, and treatment Must hold Massachusetts Drinking Water Operator Licenses of at least Class T2 and D2 or be able to obtain these licenses within 6 months through reciprocityIf you are an operations professional experienced in water treatment and production looking for a flexible schedule and growth opportunities, we encourage you to apply today!
