About the position:
As the warehouse material handling equipment market continues to grow, we continue to build our Raymond Leasing team to support effective financing of this equipment for our customers. We are seeking a Manager of Operations - Leasing to join our team of equipment finance professionals. The successful candidate will enhance and deepen the Raymond Corporation Leasing relationship with our Solutions and Support Centers as well as our National Accounts by managing the inquiry, credit, and origination process seamlessly. Specific responsibilities include management of the following:
Credit activities of the Retail Credit Department.
Oversees the credit review process for new customers and active relationships to ensure the interests of RLC are properly protected; manages Credit exposure with large customers.
Evaluates, assesses, and categorizes risk associated with all credit requests and provides the approval authority with appropriate information to support conclusions.
Credit Approval authority may be granted to the candidate.
Customer Service Department
Having responsibility for the Customer Service Department to ensure all customer and dealer inquiries are handled effectively and timely.
Analyzing call trends and making recommendations for improved processes in workflow methods to ensure performance to defined metrics.
Invoicing
Having responsibility for the operations of the Customer Billing Department to ensure effective, efficient, and customer-oriented handling of sophisticated customer accounts with specific billing needs and reconciliation requirements.
Originations and Funding Departments
Leads negotiations of Legal Contracts with customers, consulting with RLC attorneys as necessary.
Evaluates transactions sent to RLC are within policy guidelines.
Ensures accounts are accurately structured and funded to meet department specific metrics.
Collections Department
Having responsibility for the operations of the Collections Departments to ensure effective, efficient, and customer-oriented handling of communications with delinquent customers.
Sets department strategies in order to achieve KPIs.
Provide leadership and direction in default situations to limit losses in the portfolio.
Develops leaders and builds bench strength
Manages performance through clear goal setting
Coaches leadership team to effectively communicate, execute on projects, drive accountability, and develop strategies.
Provides timely, consistent and honest feedback and formal evaluations to associates.
Drives associate engagement and performance.
Maintains updated procedure manuals for all areas of responsibility.
Mentors the management team and supports on-going training initiatives and helps to ensure proper succession planning.
About you:
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Business or Finance) or equivalent experience
* 12 or more years related professional work experience
* 5 or more year of management/leadership experience
* Experience with all types of leasing and financing structures, preferably specific to Material Handling Industry or Capital Equipment.
* Proven experience with all aspects of leasing including benefits and advantages, preferably within Material Handling or Capital Equipment Industry.
* Experience using advanced financial software packages for credit monitoring, origination, servicing, billing.
It would be great if you had:
* Master’s Degree preferred.
* Experience in financing/leasing of forklift equipment.
* High level of proficiency with math skills, ability to calculate lease payments, residual amounts, interest rates, etc.
* Business insight to assess customer needs.
* Self-motivation and ability to work independently or within a group; ability to develop relationships with peers, associates, dealers, current or potential customers, and teams cross functionally.
* General understanding of all classes of Raymond forklift equipment as well as understanding of other manufacturers and competitors’ products.
* An independent self-starter with excellent communication skills.
* Operations and Credit experience in the commercial finance/banking industry is strongly preferred.
About the total compensation package
Salary -$124,800 - $159,800 per year. Compensation commensurate with selected candidates' qualifications.
Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.
