With a continuous focus on high quality patient care and experience, the Operations Program Manager is responsible for efficient and fiscally sound operational leadership for the Pediatric Heart Center and its outreach locations. The Manager will be responsible for day-to-day site operations and will work in close partnership with service line leadership to ensure goals and objectives are supported through thoughtful planning, communication and implementation. The Manager will oversee patient access and schedule utilization, fiscal and human resources management and regulatory and accreditation compliance. This key leadership position shall collaborate with the Medical Director(s) and service line leadership in developing and implementing key quality and growth strategies essential for the program’s overall success. This position maybe as a working manager, providing applicable clinical patent care duties. Responsibilities Job Description As applicable, provides direct patient care in accordance with clinical duties outlined within the respective job description. Accountable for continuous improvement and achieving key performance metrics for quality, operational efficiency, patient experience and team engagement. Ensures staff and clinicians are supported, coached, and held accountable through consistent expectations and communication. Responsible for the financial performance of the clinic, including revenue capture, expense management and provider productivity. Implements corrective actions in obtainment of financial targets. Participates in fiscal planning including the formulation of annual budgets. Independently manages all Human Resource activities including recruitment, on-boarding, work assignments, recognition, and performance management. Fosters an environment of respect, teamwork, and service consistent with Fairview’s Commitments. Serves as a liaison between staff, physicians system leadership, proactively identifies barriers to achievement and partners with all parties to develop improvement plans. Identifies barriers to achievement of clinical outcome measures and partners with Medical Directors to develop and implement effective improvement plans. Qualifications Required Education Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or healthcare related field Experience At least 3 years of healthcare related experience in complex setting. At least 1 year experience formally or informally leading multi-disciplinary teams of professionals License/Certification/Registration BLS Certification in one of the following: Exercise Physiologist; Cardiac Sonographer; or Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer is required.
