Summary:

The Manager of Recruitment and Workforce Planning leads the overall recruitment and retention function for Riverside Health System.  This role provides professional support and advice to the hiring managers and recruitment team on recruitment and retention best practices. This role oversees all recruitment advertising, prepares job advertisements and decides best placement of the recruitment advertisements.  This role, in conjunction with the recruitment team, develops creative solutions attract and retain staff for the Riverside Health System.  This role screens applications, shortlist applicants, devise and implement selection processes, conduct interviews, psychometric tests and personality assessments. This role monitors the market and completes market and internal equity reviews and makes recommendations for wages for new hires and internal changes (promotions/demotions).  This role also will assist in the annual increase process. 

 

 

Experience/Education Requirements:

Master's degree required.Minimum of seven years of previous healthcare experience required with healthcare recruitment experience preferred.Excellent communication, computer, interpersonal and organizational skills required.

License or Certification Requirements:

Recruitment Certification preferred

 

Responsibilities:

Manage the recruitment teamDevelop recruitment strategy with the team which includes attending career fairs, trade shows, and specialty meetings to create visibility for the organization, either in person or virtuallyCreate organizational recruitment plan and budget with the time lines and stakeholder accountability to address short and long term recruitment needsCreate and update position descriptions for information gathering efforts with the internal team and leaders in the organization.  Updates position descriptions in the HRIS systemDevelop benchmarks for return on investment such as time to fill, conversion rates, reason for turn down of offer, and/or other key organizational benchmarksGenerate and distribute reports with key metrics to inform and educate leaders on the process and progress of searchesidentify recruitment priorities based on community needs, program growth, and market readinessKeep data current on all potential candidates using software/database to maintain current informationStay abreast of changing rules and regulations related to recruitment activitiesComplete market reviews and work with recruitment team in making annual market adjustment recommendationsSeek out information on trends and industry changes that effect recruitment effortsEducates new leaders on the recruitment process and trains on low to create a requisition, post a position, review applicants and the hiring processWorks with Risk and HR on matters of ADA/interactive discussionsGathers data, through the exit interview process, to track and trend reasons employees exit the organization.  Develops retention strategies with leaders to retain employeesOversees the HRIS recruitment process and makes updates/changes as needed with the assistance of ITOversees the onboarding of contract staffTracks and trend turnover data to plan for future workforce needsSupports VP of HR for other duties as assigned
