The Manager of Respiratory Care Services is responsible for the daily operations of the Respiratory Care department including all administrative, fiscal, and technical activities to ensure efficient provision of high quality health care services. The Manager is responsible for quality control activities, performance improvement, and clinical operations of the department. Additionally, the Manager plans, organizes, directs, and evaluates the work of the department and coordinates its efforts with other areas of the hospital. The Manager is also responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements related to Respiratory Care services.
Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy requiredMaster’s degree or additional business or management courses are preferredMinimum of three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care servicesMinimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a healthcare organizationMust hold Registry Credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) As well as hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license from the state of North Carolina.
