EquipmentShare is searching for a Manager of Telematics Warehouse Operations for our Telematics office in Kansas City, KS to support our team as the department continues to grow.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Telematics Supply Chain, the Telematics Warehouse Manager leads a team of warehouse staff in managing the day-to-day operations (inventory management, order fulfillment, device activation, and light manufacturing/assembly) to maintain optimal levels of product inventory and ensure timely and accurate distribution of product to branches and or customers.

Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinate the efforts of all warehouse functions to ensure that customer orders are delivered in a timely and accurate manner Oversee all administrative processes within the warehouse to include personnel management and time/attendance, facility management, safety and compliance, and procurement/invoicing of warehouse supplies and equipment Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by coordinating and performing physical and cycle-based inventory counts Evaluate existing processes, and identify and implement process improvements Coordinate with subordinate staff and senior management to ensure organizational goals and objectives are established, effectively communicated and met. Collaborate with and support internal customers and suppliers to gain an understanding of their needs, provide information, and to remediate issues as they arise Provide leadership and direction to the team as they perform daily functions, ensuring a culture of safety, responsibility and accountability. Ensure that operational resources, including equipment and personnel, are properly maintained, available and allocated in relation to daily operational needs. Ensure a work environment driven by mutual respect and a focus of shared goals consistent with EquipmentShare’s Core values, policies, procedures, and standards. Serve as a mentor, leader, and team builder, filling-in to support operational activities when needed
Required Skills/Abilities: Extensive supply chain process expertise including inbound receiving, put away, retrieval, order fulfillment, shipping, transportation, etc. Excellent organizational and management skills to include the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and assign responsibilities accordingly. A background in safety knowledge, including OSHA requirements and emergency training is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong computer and technology skills to include a proficiency in MS Office / Google Suite applications, especially Excel / Google Sheets, and other internal and external applications Knowledge of warehouse and inventory management systems, MS Dynamics365 preferred. Extensive knowledge of material handling challenges and opportunities. Willingness to learn fast and take on additional responsibilities as our company continues to grow.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with a focus in business management supply chain management, or logistics, or equivalent experience. At least 5-7 years of management experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment, preferably in a technology-related industry.
Physical Requirements: The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds manually, and heavier loads with assistance as necessary.
