Responsibilities

The Manager of VBC Population Health Analytics will support Ascension’s Value Based Care (VBC) populations, such as our Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) ACOs and other Medicare Advantage, Commercial, and Medicaid populations, by investigating key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and healthcare cost data, providing management with meaningful findings and recommendations.

This position will manage a team that develops queries and reports, analyzes utilization, cost, care management engagement and outcomes, and interprets the data to uncover trends and assist in managing and understanding the population's total cost of care and strategic initiatives.

The Manager will support the creation of management presentations and support their teams with interpretation of data, identification of best sources, and drawing conclusions. Identifies potential areas for medical and pharmacy cost improvements, outreach initiatives, and predictive models/patient stratification to drive performance.

Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
