Job Description

Job Summary:

Kosciusko Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Care Program Manager to lead our hospital's Wound Care Department. This role is responsible for managing the wound care program, supervising departmental staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality wound care services in alignment with hospital policies and medical staff directives. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive expertise to monitor patient progress, develop treatment plans, and provide education for clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the Wound Care Department, including supervising staff and departmental operations.Develop and implement comprehensive wound care services in accordance with hospital policies and medical guidelines.Monitor patient treatment plans, progress, and outcomes to ensure optimal care delivery.Educate and train clinical staff on best practices, procedures, and advancements in wound care.Collaborate with the hospital’s leadership and medical teams to align departmental goals with organizational objectives.Utilize creativity and professional judgment to address challenges, optimize workflows, and achieve departmental goals.Perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks as needed.Lead and direct the work of the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (required).5–7 years of experience in wound care or a related field, demonstrating proficiency with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures.Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage staff and direct departmental activities.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a high degree of creativity and latitude.Familiarity with current wound care practices, technology, and regulatory standards.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, staff, and leadership.
