Manager Operations and Customer Integrations

About the Job

We are an innovative global healthcare company that helps the world stay ahead of infectious diseases by delivering more than 500 million vaccine doses a year. Across different countries, our talented teams are exploring new technologies to protect people and promote healthy communities. We chase the miracles of science every single day, pursuing progress to make a real impact on millions of patients around the world.

Since our customers have many clinic/pharmacy locations and have different needs in the way they order vaccines, VaxServe must be flexible in the way we accept and process orders and invoices.  This individual is an in-house technical expert on all matters related to customer integration (Electronic Data Interchange, EDI).

Main responsibilities:

1. This individual will improve and potentially shorten the EDI onboarding process for our key customers as they look to establish connections for order processing.  This includes order placement (850), PO acknowledgement (855), invoicing (810) and potentially other EDI transactions requested by our customers.

2. This individual will optimize the existing EDI process focusing on ways to reduce potential issues once the maps have been launched in Production.  This will likely involve partnering with Digital in creating approaches to monitor existing processes for errors that would impact order processing, customer invoicing, or Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) generation.

3. Customer Preference / Innovation – This person will help Customer Operations prepare for the future by leading the way on identifying and understanding novel connection methods with customers that allow them to engage with VaxServe digitally.  These new connections should bring value to the customer and to VaxServe as we look for unique ways to distinguish ourselves in the vaccine distributor space.

4 This individual will be responsible for updating existing connections and establishing new EDI connections with other vaccine manufacturers to process chargebacks (EDI 844, 845, 849).  This will require partnership with the Contract and Pricing Team at VaxServe.

5. This individual will work with the Manager Retail Operations and Special Projects to manage the VaxServe relationship with Tracelink, the third-party provider that sends ASNs via 856 to our customers.  This will include relationship management as well as issue resolution, especially when it impacts our customers.

6. This individual will assist Head of Customer Operations as needed with various Digital projects and initiatives.
