The role you’ll contribute:

The Manager of Operations acts as a facilitator for clinical operational initiatives for Physician Enterprise. This role helps medical groups deliver results through action plans and education focused on driving improved performance. This role partners and collaborates with medical group executive leadership and facilitates a wide range and variety of projects and improvement initiatives. As a leader in implementing operational strategies, this role requires a strong working knowledge of expertise in practice workflows, electronic health record, professional nursing theory, and performance improvement methodologies. This role also requires healthcare experience in a physician practice/office setting in order to best develop and implement medical group initiatives. This role will serve as the central resource for medical group practices on the development and implementation of clinical process improvement initiatives.

· Ensures performance of a wide variety of professional nursing care activities are following established standards, practices, policies and procedures within the medical group practices.

· Utilizes reports for analyzing data related to performance measures by region, medical group, specialty, practice, and provider to review and promote optimal outcomes in support of Physician Enterprise objectives

· Provides consultative and facilitation support for development and implementation of large-scale projects.

· Coordinates with high-impact teams comprised of the most effective combination of available resources to carry out practice and provider interventions

· Provides exceptional customer service by partnering directly with medical group leaders and key resources to optimize their use of the EHR and related technologies to ensure ongoing success of the practices.

· Directs large and small scale improvement initiatives across the enterprise utilizing Lean principles, requiring partnership with AdventHealth executives and other leaders to identify strategies that impact performance while creatively leveraging limited resources.

· Collaborates with business leaders to scope and prioritize ambulatory optimization projects and programs.

· Builds solid cross-functional relationships

· Contributes to identifying and conducting benchmarking, site visits, and research for best practices.

· Works with the Training Development and Delivery teams to ensure their training content and outreach is based on best practice workflows and aligns with organizational core competencies.

· Ability to lead multiple different teams.

· Coach and develop team members.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Bachelor of Science in Nursing

· Minimum of 4 years of healthcare related experience

· Demonstrated history of leading and/or influence strong improvement results in patient experience, physician/app engagement, and/or employee engagement

· Experience in strategic/cultural planning and execution with executive leadership and physicians with the ability to listen, assess, coach, mentor, motivate, and problem solve

· Nursing licensure as a professional registered nurse (RN) in good standing with the State of Florida

Preferred Qualifications :

· Six Sigma

· Lean Certification

· Project Management Professional by PMI

· Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

· Member of one professional organization related to job responsibilities (i.e. ASQ, IIE

· Master’s degree in healthcare or related field
