Manager Operations Kootenai Clinic
Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing & coordinating operations of assigned Kootenai Clinic services including existing practices, acquisitions, and new service line implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Translates strategic directives into tactical initiatives, leading performance improvement activities across multi-disciplinary teams
• Maintains excellent relationships with providers by proactively communicating issues
• Works with cross-functional teams within the organization to deliver operational and clinical excellence within budgetary boundaries
• Provides direction for clinic supervisors, staff, and physicians
• Monitors the day-to-day operations of the clinics and services
• Responsible for ensuring that high quality, safe patient care is given and that there is economical and efficient performance
• Collaborates with other practice managers to ensure standardized practice meets regulatory requirements
• Responsible for developing and monitoring overall budget and the ongoing financial management of assigned areas
• Uses analytic skills to assess trends and improvement opportunities to implement new programs to maintain/improve patient volumes and access to care
• Prepares business cases to support provider and staff recruitment
• Encourages and supports outreach activities
• Leads and directs the work of others
• A high degree of creativity and latitude is required
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration/management, nursing leadership or business related field required, or in progress with expected completion within 2 years of hire
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a healthcare administrative setting required
• Broad and intensive knowledge of hospital administrative and allied health practices to include knowledge of the clinical program development, revenue cycle management, and marketing and performance improvement
Working Conditions:
• Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
