The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) organization is a centralized department that is responsible for CRE activities worldwide, serving >40,000 employees.
As the manager operations/tactical asset management you are responsible for securing Operational Safety and Business Continuity for all of our factories and offices in the Netherlands. You will take a leading role over our contractors (main contractors and single service providers), in daily business, e.g. the Control Room, Lock Out Tag Out, Permit-to-Work and ticketing processes responding to failures and business demands.
As the manager of operations/tactical asset management, you will lead the team, overseeing the development and performance of your team members. You will be responsible for managing all hard services operations across the Netherlands, both on and off the Veldhoven Campus. Your role will involve stakeholder management, acting like a bridge between various teams and ensuring alignment with the strategic asset management team to adjust strategies based on operational and tactical insights.
You will focus on maintaining safety and business continuity in the short term, and will play an active role in designing, implementing, and securing all operational processes. This includes financial responsibilities such as budgeting, forecasting, and validating costs, as well as managing supplier and contract relationships.
As manager operations/tactical asset management you will be in contact with a lot of stakeholders. You are responsible for operational customer contact, and alignment with the Business Partners of Corporate Real Estate. Your Operations/Tactical Asset Management team consists of technical facility and services managers, and several support and specialist functions.
Your peer managers are the Manager Strategic Asset Management, Manager Soft Services, the Manager Competence and Manager Commissioning & Acceptance. You will report to the Head of Facilities and Maintenance and are part of the F&M management team.
In addition to the responsibilities and tasks mentioned above, as a manager of the operations and tactical asset management, you will also be faced with the following tasks and responsibilities:
Alignment with supplier & contract management.
People and Asset Safety (lototo, permit to work, etc.).
High Priority Response (failures and request) / Control Room and 24/7 Services.
Take the lead in case of escalations regarding Safety and Business Continuity issues.
Low priority response management of failures, requests, information and complaints (FRIC).
Responsible for operational reporting.
Maintenance Project Portfolio.
Facility shutdown management.
Education and experienceCompleted master's degree in engineering, asset management or business administration.
At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar complex (industrial) environment.
At least 5 years of experience in (industrial / operational) management function.
