Manager - Organizational Development
**Description** + Develop and execute an enterprise-wide training and development strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, focusing on enhancing employee capabilities and performance + Collaborate closely with business leaders, HR, and operational managers to identify and prioritize the organization's learning and development needs. Ensure training programs support business strategies and workforce development. + Leads tin the design, development, and delivery of training programs tailored to meet the needs of employees at all levels, from manufacturing floor staff to executive leadership. + Oversee the management and optimization of the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure efficient delivery, tracking, and reporting of training activities. + Collaborate with department leaders to assess training needs, identify skill gaps, and develop targeted training initiatives. + Drive the adoption of innovative training methodologies and technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, e-learning, and mobile learning platforms. + Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and their impact on business results. + Manage the training budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve training objectives. + Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, encouraging employees to engage in ongoing professional growth. + Lead the development and implementation of leadership development and succession planning programs. + Ensure compliance of training program with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory training requirements. + Evaluate and select external training providers and resources as needed to complement in-house programs. Manage relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality services and cost-effectiveness. + Provide strategic reports to senior management on training program outcomes, ROI, and recommendations for continuous improvement. + Lead, mentor, and develop the training team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the department. + Provide cross-functional teams with support and technology expertise to create, administer and track Board of Director training programs. Facilitate Director New Hire Orientation annually. + Plans, develops, and implements meetings and events on behalf of the Cooperative and the member cooperatives, including semi-annual directors’ conferences. + Due to business needs and the nature of this position, the ability to work outside regular office hours and more than 40 hours per week is an essential function of this position. + The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position. + Performs any other related duties as required or assigned. **Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, HR Administration or related field, plus at least 8 years total related experience, including 5 years management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. **PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS** + Prior electric cooperative experience a plus. + MBA + PHR **PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES** The following physical activities described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must have the ability to represent the values and principles of the electric cooperatives. Travel with some overnight is required. Meetings, programs and activities may occur during non-traditional work hours or on weekends. Availability for such hours is a requirement. Must have ability to develop and organize programs and activities involving people. Must have sensitivity to people and demonstrate excellent interpersonal relationships with the staffs, management, and directors of the member systems. Demonstrates insight and creativity; offers options and solutions when approaching issues or problems. Is proactive in identification and communication of issues or barriers that may impede an initiative or compromise its success. Use critical thinking skills to identify and determine alternative solutions/approaches. Effective communication and influencing skills, both written and oral, with the ability to share information and ideas clearly and concisely with a range of audiences. Capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships across the organization and to work collaboratively with colleagues, management, and directors of member systems. Resourceful and able to work independently.
