Description Pharmacist Manager - Oncology/Infusion/Investigational Drug Services Location: UCHealth UCHlth Leprino Building AMC, US:CO:Aurora Department: UCH Amb HOPD Pharmacy FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $63.32 - $101.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy. + State licensure as a Pharmacist. + 3 years of post-graduate experience. Prefer previous leadership experience. At UCHealth, We Improve Lives Responsibilities: + Oversee the daily regional operations of the oncology infusion and investigational drug pharmacies, including workflow management, staffing, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. + Develop and manage the pharmacy budget for the oncology infusion area, including forecasting drug needs, controlling costs, and optimizing purchasing strategies. + Maintain strict adherence to USP, CO SBOP, and other relevant regulations and guidelines for sterile compounding and handling of hazardous drugs. Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to drug handling, storage, and disposal. + Conduct performance evaluations, address staffing needs, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. + Oversee the implementation and maintenance of pharmacy information systems and other technology used in the infusion pharmacy. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve efficiency and safety. + Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.
