Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment. This includes correcting unsafe acts/conditions, facilitating monthly safety meetings, performing monthly safety inspections, and investigating accidents as required. 2. Supports development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the BCR and Quality systems. 3. Directs and coordinates the activities of the production function in the plant and its interface with the group office and other staff areas. 4. Establishes and implements improvements for cost reduction, quality and safety programs. 5. Directs and assists with developmental or experimental production activities. 6. Arranges and coordinates employee involvement in addressing problem areas of production equipment by utilizing problem-solving tools, skills and statistical skills. 7. Arranges for maintenance and preventive maintenance and recommends programs to implement same. 8. Responsible of the industrialization of new products/processes. 9. Responsible of CAPEX assigned to the business. 10. Responsible of the implementation of new lines and equipment. **Position Requirement & competencies:** **Professional & Education Qualification** + Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education or work-related experience. + Job related experience for 4 year(s) minimum in a manufacturing or industrial setting. **Skills** + Must be able to prioritize multiple projects, perform complex tasks, organize and follow through consistently and work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment + Demonstrable skill in team building, leading, teaching, coaching and influencing leaders; ability to influence upward, across and down with skill, and without formal authority + Change leadership experience; willing to take risks, challenge the status quo and work under ambiguous circumstances + Application experience and skill using Microsoft Office and other content development tools + Experience using and supporting learning management (LMS) and content management systems + Ability to identify, organize and administer local training grant opportunities + Ability to communicate with associates at all levels of the organization + Strong written and oral communication, facilitation and presentation skills (communicate at all levels of the organization) + Excellent customer service skills + Self-motivation with the ability to work independently + Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner. + Performs such individual assignments as management may direct + Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills **Knowledge** + Expertise with teaching and supporting trainers on adult learning methods, skills and techniques + Technical-writing Acumen + Experience using and writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions **Other Requirements** + Works in both office and manufacturing environments. + This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to, high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc. + Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices. + While the regular working cycle of this position is usually 5 days on (Monday-Friday), this job may include working weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
