JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for the development of the financial strategy for the portfolio of products in Brazil, including short-term pricing strategies, long-term pricing scenarios, new product launches, and forecasting. The incumbent will work closely with the Marketing Teams to develop forecasts, identify market trends, and implement business plans. This role also requires close interaction with the commercial team to ensure alignment between the business strategy and financial objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with the Marketing Teams to understand the potential demand for each product within the portfolio based on clinical evidence, unmet needs, patient journey, competitive landscape, etc.
• Develop and manage the pricing strategy for each product, considering factors such as the cost of goods sold, profitability, volume, competition, reimbursement, government regulations, and regulatory environment.
• Analyze market data and make recommendations on pricing, discounts, rebates, and other incentives to optimize revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accurate forecasts and budgets for the portfolio, taking into account sales trends, market dynamics, and economic factors.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements through process optimization, supply chain management, and contract negotiations.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to the pharmaceutical sector.
• Lead the negotiation of agreements with healthcare providers, payers, and distributors, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations for senior management (Pricing Committee, Monthly performance review).
• Support the development and implementation of new products or line extensions, conducting financial analysis and feasibility studies to determine their viability.
• Provide guidance and training to junior members of the team on financial modeling, pricing strategies, and market analysis techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using statistical software packages and spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments and levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing strategies/projects in a dynamic and rapidly changing market environment.
• Ability to think strategically and anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
• Fluent English level both written and spoken
