Responsibilities About the role Opportunity to work in a hybrid model in Fort Worth, Texas.   The Process Excellence Manager supports and develops an industry-leading Lean Six Sigma program designed to train, coach, and certify GMF personnel. In addition, this position leads and manages large-scale business initiatives. Key to this role is assuring internal client expectations are met by delivering initiatives on-time and within budget. This role is responsible for bringing together expertise from across the enterprise, facilitating change and delivering customer value. Developing accurate documentation and status information is vital to the success of this role; these include but are not limited to project charters, business cases, business process flows, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, quality plans, project checklists, implementation and transition plans. In this role you will: Develop and deliver White & Yellow Belt trainings to the business Partner with leadership to develop GMF’s Lean Six Sigma program Lead strategic transformation projects within the Enterprise Services portfolio, provide reporting on deployment, establish clear communication, identify, and mitigate risk and ensure timely effort completion Champion Business Process Management including guiding groups and or teams through process design, reengineering, and opportunity assessments - ensure compliance (department, state, and federal regulations) Interact with varying levels of management and departments across the organization, utilize consulting skills to collaborate with stakeholders Advocate the needs of the customer and the business, drive the voice of the customer as well as the voice of the business Develop/conduct additional operational excellence related trainings as assigned Qualifications What makes you a dream candidate? Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)-Possess knowledge of business transformation tools and techniques Project Management-Possess knowledge and expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques Auto Finance-Knowledge of GM Financial or another auto finance company core business functions, policies, and procedures (desired) Instructional Design Formal corporate classroom training/facilitation experience (virtual and in person) Process Excellence-Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean techniques and methodologies, knowledge of and experience in developing improvement opportunities and implementing efficiencies, champion process excellence initiatives Consulting / Client Focus-Experience and ability to build and sustain lasting relationships with internal clients Influence and positively deliver results and solve problems for future success Analysis & Communication- Experience in data analysis, effective communication including active listening and comfort presenting to senior leadership, ability to simplify complex information and develop clear communications and presentation materials to a variety of audiences Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project) Experience with business architecture modeling software (ie Sparx Systems) Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field 3+ years in relevant work required 3+ years managing complex projects (Non-IT) preferred 3+ years in Process Design or Process Improvement preferred Licenses Process Design or Process Improvement certification preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred Project Management Professional certification preferred What We Offer: Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), tuition assistance, training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidays.
