Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the Procurement Manager will lead the Enterprise Procurement group in one or several assigned categories. You'll source, negotiate, contract and manage one or more categories within the Packaging area; these categories can range in spend from $50 million to over $300 million. Your focus area includes resin packaging. You'll provide internal customers with sourcing strategies, an outstanding supply base that provides quality products and services to our plants, promote cost savings and to maintain the level of service provided to the corporation.
What you’ll do:Jointly plan sourcing strategies in the assigned categories in collaboration within functions across the Enterprise
Establish strategic relationships with the supply base, to achieve cost savings opportunities
Negotiate, contract, and implement preferred supplier agreements
Lead teams in sourcing projects
Research market dynamics, cost drivers, supplier business models, and historical spend to enhance future negotiations for assigned categories
Provide clear position reporting and allow ease of use and application of volume estimates
Draft Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and conduct associated analysis
Ensure the service and quality requirements of ConAgra Brands are met, along with the required innovation and product improvements
Work with Operations and Brands to resolve all supply chain issues
Resolve supplier and internal customer issues to insure a successful implementation process
Manage supplier relationships and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to evaluate and report performance
Ensure continuity of services for assigned categories by partnering with suppliers and managing supplier performance
Understand advanced sourcing practices and their application
Provide organizational leadership in developing creative approaches to new technology
Implement supplier strategy using industry modeling and appropriate metrics across ConAgra Foods
Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 years + experience in Procurement or related field
Experience with procurement/strategic sourcing end-user expectations and requirements
Project Management experience
Experience implementing/completing complex projects
ERP systems experience
Conflict management experience
SAP, Right Angle, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, PowerPoint, and Access experience
In the Omaha Office 3 days per week, Tuesday through Thursday
Compensation:
Pay Range:$104,000-$152,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
