Manager Product Management (m/f/d)
Key role and responsibilities
Disciplinary leadership of the global Product Management organization Management of the entire product value stream, including: Product-to-market utility analysis, Go-to-market strategies and initiatives, Product launches, Evaluation of product changes, and Ensuring contract-compliant product features for post-series supply Determination of market requirements for existing and future products Management of the creation of specifications for base products Setting product target costs based on market requirements at the overall system level Ownership of the product roadmap and active leadership of the product strategy for the coming years in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders of the company Definition of global product warranty concepts based on calculated risk assessment and competitiveness in the context of lifespan and performance Creation of standardized internal and external product documentation and presentations, as well as training for customers Support for customer inquiries throughout the entire product lifecycle Continuous market observation, representation at trade fairs, and participation in relevant working groups Support in evaluating potential partnerships with external companies and M&A activities Creation and justification of strategic product decision-making bases for top managementJob requirements and qualifications
Completed studies in engineering or industrial engineering or a comparable qualification Proven professional experience in a similar position, ideally in the automotive environment Preferably technical product knowledge in the field of battery systems Fluent in German and English Confident and experienced in using PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP Knowledge of functional safety processes (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, EN 50128 / EN 50129) is advantageousOur Offers
