Project Manager, Product Planning (Remote)
Full-time, United States, Costa Rica

 

As a member of the Engineering team, you will work on a range of complex (and fun!) problems and be accountable for successfully delivering projects from inception to completion. You will work on a cross-functional team that includes counterparts in Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Supplier Relations, Clients and Vendors. 

 

We are looking for people who love complex problems with real-world impact, are capable and willing to roll up their sleeves and have a proven track record in delivering custom software development projects.

 

As a Project Manager, Product Planning, you will

Collaborate with internal business stakeholders, development teams and vendors. to formulate and prioritize product development roadmap. Manage expectations of product delivery scope and timelines with internal stakeholders by driving trade-off discussions and communicating accurate timelines to all stakeholders Monitor and understand the development calendar, know where your features are always in development by working closely with development and QA teams, and manage blockers and dependencies Ensure and communicate complex, technical concepts in clear, concise language; convey clear, concise information in verbal, written, electronic, and other communication formats; and demonstrate active listening while engaging others Ensure to assess situations, provide counsel, and identify solutions that resolve disputes/issues while considering the best interests of all parties; develop and implement short and long-term solutions; and apply effective problem-solving and decision-making to address business needs and issues Use your knowledge of our products to suggest improvements to product requirements Collaborate on all business readiness activities, such as product demos, product documentation, acceptance testing, and rollout Leads sprint planning activity and other agile ceremonies and support the day-to-day operations by triaging support issues

 

About you

Completion of a four-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (e.g., engineering, technology, management, business administration, etc.) or relevant experience Experience in analysis, managing software development or software implementation projects (ideally a mix) Extensive understanding of PMI project management principles, methods, and techniques Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines Experience working in JIRA projects Experience in writing business and technical requirements Experience in system integrations with 3rd parties is a must Knowledge of different data formats like JSON, XML, CSV, etc,. Experience in the travel industry and knowledge of APIs, data visualization platforms, and Cloud technologies is a plus

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Project Manager, Product Planning is between $100,000 and $120,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
