Roles and Responsibilities:
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements.Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements.Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science with 8+ years of experience; Master's with 6+ years of experience.Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or in a repair industry.Must have computer skills using Microsoft office suite, such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.Able to work independently and set clear objectives in a dynamic team environment.Must be process/procedure oriented.Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or Technical background.6+ years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing and Repair industry.Effective communication and presentation skills.Previous experience working in Production Control and Scheduling organization.Salary Range: $114,100.00 - $171,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
