Northrop Grumman Air Dominance Division is looking for you to join our F-35 team as a Manager Program Control 2 based out of Palmdale, CA.

What You’ll get to Do:

Management responsibilities for Cost & Schedule Management in multiple Business Areas on the Program. Manage all efforts relating to Cost & Schedule baselines including, but not limited to:

Ensure timely input to Workforce Planning of project headcount projections, weekly/monthly basisProject management including managing multiple priorities against ambitious timelinesFunction as a strategic partner and change agent, creating an environment of trust, compliance, continuous improvement and learningSupport/coordinate internal and external surveillance auditsEnsure full compliance with corporate policies, with particular focus on implementation of the Northrop Grumman Earned Value Management SystemProvide support to bids, bid reviews, and internal projectsAdvise Control Account Managers on Compliance and EV GuidelinesEarned Value ManagementSupport integrated baseline (IBR) reviewsSupport Master Schedule changes and impact assessmentsAttend site business management meetings to define Cost & Schedule needs and work with Operations EV Planning management on resource allocation needsPerform in a fast paced, frequently changing, and demand driven environmentProblem solving and decision making requiring excellent communication skillsDevelop, mentor and train Cost Planning personnel and provide regular performance feedbackEnsure proper staffing balance of employees and consultantsOperate within established budgets

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 7 years of Business/Program Management experience or 5 years with a Masters Degree.5+ years of hands-on experience in Program Planning / Scheduling utilizing MPM/Cobra or similar Cost Management software
Demonstration of a strong understanding of project managementProficiency in MS Office Programs (MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word)2 or more years of Leadership Experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

Understands NDIA's Planning and Scheduling requirementsStrong understanding of Production OperationsExperience in a DOD manufacturing or engineering development environmentFamiliarity with Earned Value tools (Cobra, PowerBI etc.)Experience in applying integrated cost/schedule methodologies within an Earned Value (EVMS) environmentExperience in Aerospace and/or Defense programs and familiarity with Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR).Ability to obtain DOD secret clearance

Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
