Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL has an exciting Manager opportunity for a Master Program Planning 2.

Specific roles and responsibilities of the Program Planning and Scheduling Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage all scheduling efforts and schedule baselinesProvide site schedulers with day to day hands on support, guidance, troubleshooting, and satisfying Programmatic requirementsProject management including managing multiple priorities against ambitious timelinesFunction as a change agent, creating an environment of trust, compliance, continuous improvement and learningSupport/coordinate internal and external surveillance auditsEnsure full compliance with corporate policies, with particular focus on implementation of the Northrop Grumman Earned Value Management SystemProvide support to bids, bid reviews, and internal projectsAdvise business managers in integrating project schedules with Earned Value ManagementSupport integrated baseline reviewsAdvise on integrated project master reportsAttend site business management meetings to define schedule needs and work with Sector Scheduling management on resource allocation needsAssist Sector scheduling group in evaluating goals and objectives for site schedulersPerform in a fast paced, frequently changing, and demand driven environmentProblem solving and decision making requiring excellent communication skillsTravel 10%, as requiredThis is a 100% onsite position

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 7 years of Business Management Experience or 5 years with a Master’s Degree.Hands-on experience in Program Planning / Scheduling utilizing Microsoft Project or similar scheduling softwareDemonstration of a strong understanding of project management.Leadership Experience.The willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.Must have an active secret clearance to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a Business Administration or Engineering with Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Program Planning / Scheduling utilizing Microsoft Project or similar scheduling softwareExperience in a DOD manufacturing or engineering development environment.Proficiency in MS Office Programs (MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word)Familiarity with Earned Value tools (MPM, Cobra, etc.)Experience in applying integrated cost/schedule and critical path methodologies within an Earned Value (EVMS) environment.Experience using a Monte Carlo schedule risk simulator such as Oracle Primavera Risk AnalyzerFamiliarity with the NDIA's Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide.Experience in Aerospace and/or Defense programs and familiarity withIntegrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR).

Salary Range: $119,300.00 - $179,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
