Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems (NGMS) sector is looking for a Manager, Programs Level 1 to support the Emerging Capabilities Development (ECD) organization onsite in Linthicum, MD. The primary objective of this position will be the development of hardware subsystems under the direction of a senior program manager. This is a great opportunity for someone technical to make the transition into program management with additional cost and schedule responsibility.

What You'll Get to Do:

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Managing the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program.Interfacing with internal and external customers, vendors, and company support organizations.Delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders.Developing and monitoring adherence to the change management process.Addressing workforce planning.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years, Master’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience supporting Government proposals, contracts and/or project management.Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either product lead, integrated program team lead or cost account manager. Technical background and experience with the development of mechanical subsystems.Strong communication and organizational skills.US Citizenship.Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a SAP level clearance after starting..

Preferred Qualifications:

STEM Degree.Experience with NX and Teamcenter.Experience as a cost account manager.Change Management experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Salary Range: $124,000.00 - $186,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
