The Program Manager of Operations will provide operational focus (Cost, Quality, and Schedule) for their assigned program. The candidate will be responsible for the overall Operational performance for the lifecycle of their assigned program.
Essential Functions:
Proposal through launch/deliveryLead all proposal efforts for the operations teamEstablish and execute all Operations Plans including material, manufacturing, integration of large and complex subassemblies with associated testingChange agent to improve material flow and empowerment within subassembly integration utilizing lean practices and visual managementDevelop assembly and manpower forecastEstablish methodology to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly objectives are achievedCost Account Management (CAM)Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of related experienceAbility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearanceStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with all levels in the organizationVery strong MS Project, Excel, Power Point, and Word skillsExperience leading a multi discipline teamPreferred Qualifications:
Active Secret security clearanceBS/BA Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field plus 14 years of experienceExperience implementing lean projectsExperience managing a Product lineExperience in a Program or Operations environmentSalary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
