**Salary range: $148K to $164K, depending on experience.**
**Remote-based role with 25% minimum travel required.**
**Primary** **Purpose** **of** **Position**
As a key member of our Renewable Generation Development Center of Excellence, the Engineering Manager will be a single point contact responsible for managing and integrating all engineering in support of development and construction opportunities. This role will work with both internal and external stakeholders and consultants.
**Primary** **Duties** **and** **Accountabilities**
1. Lead execution of engineering activities with internal and external parties in support of project development and construction.
2. Direct, plan and coordinate strategy of engineering in support or Repowering and other development activities.
3. Lead efforts to standardized key engineering contracts to support development, due diligence and construction.
4. Actively engage the project team to assure their satisfaction with the completion of engineering activities, such as site plans, civil designs, electrical studies, suitability studies and design reviews.
5. Conduct outreach to engineering companies and consultants to gain support for best practice and standardized scopes of work.
6. Develop engineering costs and budgets to control and monitor development project engineering activities.
7. Actively participate in design decisions and construction planning in support of project execution planning.
8. Integrate engineering documentation and issued for construction drawings into corporate systems for tracking and ongoing operations.
9. Support Project Team during construction as needed, specifically when involving engineering and design issues and/or communications.
10. Engage and manage third-party contractors with supporting engineering development activities, including project scoping, budgeting, contracting and payments.
**Minimum** **Qualifications**
• BS Degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer
• 5+ years Engineering experience with 5+ years Power Plant, Industrial or Manufacturing experience
• Successful completion of FLS Selection Testing • Power Generation Experience
**Preferred** **Qualifications**
• Power Generation Experience
• Professional Engineering Registration
• Advanced technical degree, MBA
