Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Project Management 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Division Operations and Integration organization. This unique position will support enterprise operations and integration in the office of the Sector Vice President and General Manager, Global Surveillance Division. This manager will work side by side with division staff and business unit integrators. This role will be based in Melbourne, FL.
The candidate should have a broad understanding and ability to apply many program management tools and techniques to support various needs. Knowledge of and ability to adhere to NG processes and apply them to working internal projects is also critical. The candidate should have knowledge of industry practices and standards and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks. This individual should possess superior leadership and team building capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. Must demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage division operations and strategic rhythm that enables oversight of programs, promotes division visibility, and ensures strategic messagingDevelop deliverables and talking points for executive level engagementsEstablish and manage performance dashboards to create program visibility at all levelsPerform special assignments to include, but not limited to, staffing assessment and visibility metrics; assessing and optimizing processes; employee engagement actions; and division efficiency assessment/improvementInterpret, execute, and recommend modifications to organizational policies. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of related professional / military experience to include a background of program management, project management, budget, contracts, business operations, or business management; OR a master’s degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience to include a background of program management, project management, budget, contracts, business operations, or business managementExperience working with executives and senior leadersExperience managing communications with stakeholdersExperience leading / aligning teams to achieve a common goal in a dynamic work environmentExperience in project management, program integration and/or resource managementActive DoD Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:
Master’s degreeAdvanced training in program managementExperience leading Program Integration TeamsExperience in program management with P&L responsibilityBroad experience in Northrop Grumman program management competenciesEVMS/CAM experienceStrong written and verbal communication including experience briefing senior leadership and groups of various sizesThe ability to address uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approachActive DoD Top Secret clearance (SSBI)Salary Range: $133,400.00 - $200,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
