Basic Job Functions:

Manage the Facility’s Quality Assurance System in accordance with applicable ISO standards and company objectives. Implements team building efforts in order to achieve the Company mission.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline. CQE or CQM preferred. More than 15 years of working experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment and with managerial experience.

Required Skills/Competencies:

Proven Quality Assurance Management knowledge and experience. Proven Employee Relations skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Evidence of effective customer interface. Proven experience in managing strategic initiatives with cross functional groups. Demonstrated collaborative leadership style. Sound knowledge of troubleshooting process and equipment related issue. Knowledgeable in process and equipment’s troubleshooting and understanding (level 3) Proven use of statistical methods (Six Sigma tools, SPC). Possess experience in third party quality management system maintenance (ISO 9001).

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing and direct product quality specifications in accordance with Company Policy and ISO standards. Responsible for setting plant quality goals based on Company objectives, measure, and report results. Manage and lead plant the quality team to achieve quality goals in accordance with company policy and ISO standards. Develop appropriate reaction plans and lead cross functional teams to achieve quality goals. Interface with cross functional team and customers in order to achieve the quality goals. Manage the department budget process. Defines and implements corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement activities as assigned. Responsible for problem-solving of internal quality issues. Responsible for facilitating technical problem solving, carrying out negotiations, secure, develop and allocate resources as appropriate. Acts as resource for proper use of statistical methods to ensure data driven decision making process takes place. Collaborate with global team and inter-plant managers to ensure copy smart philosophy is followed with all plants and sites. Manage quality projects and task force team to drive quality issues to resolve root cause. Other duties as assigned.  Job description subject to change at any time.

This position will report to the Head- Quality Global This position will have direct reports.

Travel:

5% - 10%

Estimated Annual Salary Range:

$95,000 - $130,000 Estimated Annual Salary

Physical Requirements:

Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift. Will climb stairs on an occasional basis. Will lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on an occasional basis. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis. 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards). All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair).
