The Radiation Oncology manager's core responsibility is under the direction of the Director and with considerable latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care.
Oversees the 24-hour operation of the Radiation Oncology department with accountability for leadership, overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing, directing and managing operations. Works collaboratively with the Radiation Oncologists and Physics to ensure the delivery of accurately prescribed courses of radiation therapy for patients of any age group in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards.
Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's needs for radiation oncology services are assessed, evaluated, and met. Responsible for hiring, training, development, retention, and corrective action of assigned caregivers.

This is an onsite role that will report into the hospital daily, as scheduled Work Status Available: Full Time - Exempt (Salaried) Shifts Available: Day Eligible for a yearly Incentive Target Bonus
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Preferably health-related field Education in hospital administration and personnel management Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License -OR- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists 5+ years of full time experience as a radiation therapist in clinical radiation oncology 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role Demonstration of increasing responsibility and experience in the supervision of clinical services and financial operation of a radiation oncology department Established record as a strong team player and leader who inspires excellence in all areas including outstanding customer service and motivates employees to contribute to the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Management experience, preferably in a radiation oncology environment
