Virtua is growing! We are hiring 2 Managers of Rehab Services for inpatient acute care.


Summary:

Responsible for fiscal and employee management to assure effective daily operations and may provide direct patient care in area of clinical specialty.

Responsible for development and maintenance of program(s) which support Virtua’s vision, mission and values.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages and clarifies performance expectations with staff and provides ongoing feedback, both verbal and written.

• Assists director in the development of a department-specific, strategic and operational plan.

• Serves as a team leader who maximizes performance in others and facilitates team collaboration.

• Effectively facilitates staff’s acceptance of an adaptation to departmental/operational changes.

• Works with the director to clarify needs of customers. Provides quick, thorough and appropriate response to customer requests/complaints.

• Effectively communicates with patient and/or family/significant others, team members, medical and ancillary professionals to provide optimum quality patient care and effective operations.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

Minimum of three (3) years in the profession including at least one (1) year in a similar setting.

Previous administrative experience.

Required Education:

Minimum of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in clinical discipline (degree required for State licensure).

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

Current State of New Jersey license in clinical specialty.

CPR certification.

Valid driver’s license, current automobile registration and proof of insurance.
