The Manager of Retail Innovation is responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing cutting-edge strategies and technologies to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency across the retail network. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to pilot new initiatives, streamline processes, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives in the competitive auto parts market.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for innovation.
Develop and implement strategies to improve in-store and online customer experiences.
Utilize Data/Market Intelligence to analyze and forecast growing trends in the retail space. Propose solutions based on future-state adoption and anticipated industry developments.
Communicates effectively with cross functional stakeholders across all BUs and Functions – balancing building standards within the Store Operations department with other Functional/BU needs to optimize customer experience and shared KPIs.
Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential problem or opportunity areas in systems across the organization.
Must be willing to travel 25%.
SKILLS
Required:Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, project management, or innovation roles, preferably in the automotive or related industries.
Strong understanding of retail operations, supply chain, and customer service in the auto parts industry.
Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with and influencing senior executives and building strong professional relationships.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected as part of the job performance and will need to rely on judgment and experience to accomplish goals
Desired:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of implementing successful retail innovations or technologies.
Demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects and building relationships.
Familiarity with emerging retail technologies, such as AI, AR/VR, and IoT, is a plus.
