Overview Monday-Friday; 9:00am-5:30pm (Pharmacy closed on Saturday and Sunday) This positon will be working for OSF HealthCare Retail Pharmacy in Danville (llocated at 800 N Logan Ave Suite 100) Expected pay for this position is $61.42 - $81.39/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Pharmacy Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating a staff of professional and technical personnel engaged in compounding and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies. This position is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy. Ensures pharmacy and staff are compliant with both State and Federal rules and regulations pertaining to retail pharmacy which includes ensuring all requirements of third party payors are met. Maintains medication records that pertains to retail pharmacy in order to ensure compliance. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Three to five years work in a retail pharmacy setting to understand and manage all aspects of services provided, as well as laws and regulatory compliance relating to retail pharmacy services. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Pharm D Licensure/Certifications: Current Illinois State license as a Pharmacist Other skills/knowledge: Interpersonal skills are necessary to communicate effectively with department staff, physicians, nurses and other various Hospital personnel on a variety of pharmaceutical topics OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
