We are currently looking for a reliable Manager of Construction and Project Management for our Renewable Natural Gas Operations here at Suburban Propane.
As a Manager of RNG Construction and Project Management, you will be responsible for overseeing various construction projects of Suburban’s portfolio of renewable natural gas production facilities. The empowered candidate will gain in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of each asset type and manage project costs to fit the set budget.
This position will work closely with plant operations across the country to gather facility needs and project cost information. Works with the VP – RNG Operations to select construction partners, and manages construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities Lead delivery of capital projects including contractor selection, and construction managementManage EPC contractors and consultants and work closely with internal and external Engineering to lead projects from conception to completion. This includes managing project timetables, project budgets, as well as evaluating and mitigating project risks Work with operations teams to identify and deliver capital projects at existing RNG locationWork closely with internal and external Engineering, Compliance, and consulting resources to determine project feasibility including preferred regulatory participation (i.e. RFS/LCFS/voluntary marketplace), project returns, technology selection, site selection, and overall feasibilitySupport Suburban’s research, development and expansion of new RNG projectImprove business and operational processes by identifying and implementing solutions to address areas of opportunity

Qualifications College degree required - Bachelor's degree at minimum. Minimum 10 years of experience in operations and construction management and successful track record of managing construction projects. Environmental credit knowledge preferred. (LCFS, RIN, Production Tax Credits, Investment Tax Credits, etc.)Successful project management and project delivery track record including managing capital projects ranging from $5MM to $100+MM
