The Manager Sales Support & Administration (f/m/d) will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager to provide administrative and organizational assistance to the sales team, handle customer contracts as well as compliancy, and to lead the Sales Backoffice Team of 14 associates. This position is heading the Sales Support & Administration department located in Krefeld and will be on-site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead the Sales Support & Administration department with 14 employees and develop a high-performance team (incl. effective change management). Constantly maintain a mind-set focused on developing top talent.Customer contract management & compliancy as well as profitability assessmentsManagement of Beckman Coulter product lines, order fulfilment and training of the customer in using devicesCommunicates with vendors and customers and arranges for third party inspectionsTender management, billing execution from invoice to disputed resolution.Driving change processes for compliancy and efficiency gain utilising our continuous improvement tools (Danaher Business Systems)Inventory management

The essential requirements of the job include:

Substantial experience within a complex matrix organization in a high technology and medical product/service sectorIn-depth understanding of Sales and Sales Support conceptsExperience in managing and developing professional associatesA high degree of independenceCustomer-oriented way of thinking and actingBachelor’s Degree in Economics or any other relevant educationFluent in English and German

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Guiding and influencing cross-functionalDisplay a willingness to do whatever it takes to “get it done” and holds self-accountable for assigned work. Focus on critical deliverables and high priority assignments, owns a sense of urgency and prioritizations.
