Position Purpose:

The Sales Training Manager is dedicated to driving training and development initiatives for Stericycle Compliance Solutions’ services across the Sales Organization.  This position determines training effectiveness, evaluation criteria, gap analysis and maximizes sales development through observations and coaching.  Knowledge of sales processes, SFDC, and other applications the sales org utilizes is a key part of the job. 

Key Job Activities: Consult, train, and coach sales managers in areas that include revenue generation performance issues and overall sales effectiveness Collaborate cross functionally across sales, marketing and customer service to measure, analyze, and enhance the performance of revenue generation activities connected with sales effectiveness Analyze team’s performance and understanding of sales process, service offerings & products Work closely with Sales Leaderships to drive results Responsibility of managing the certification process and movement of all new hire training for Team Members Delivers sales effectiveness courses, and other sales training programs to Sales Managers and existing team members utilizing a variety of delivery methods. Determines training needs by traveling/shadowing with sales managers and representatives; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with sales managers/leaders Modifies and delivers sales management and leadership content, leader guide materials for the key support center(s) and Sales team; conducts training sessions Facilitates and coordinates modules focusing on sales leadership development Participates in the selection and guide development of system training tools to ensure that requirements are practical and easy to use, facilitate effective learning, and are cost effective. And, improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions Develops project plans, development and implementation timelines, and manages personal time and priorities to achieve those plans. At direction of their Director – may Work cross-functionally across other areas of the business including Sales Operations, IT, Strategy and Business Development, and Process Improvement, among others, to help achieve sales results Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results; modify programs as needed; Plan, organize and order supplies for employee events. Develop and monitor spending against the departmental budget. Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization. Work effectively as a team member with other members of management and the human resources staff Performs learning management system (LMS) activities to track training participation, completion and effectiveness. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned Experience: Bachelor’s or equivalent Degree in Education, Marketing, Management, or Training, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating strong knowledge of adult learning concepts and effective approaches for facilitating learning Certification in Instruction Design preferred 5+ years of experience required Extensive knowledge in specialized field Benefits:
