This position is responsible for managing the patient payment services across a multi-facility integrated healthcare delivery system; which includes all billing associated with Henry Ford Health System hospitals, outpatient clinics and employed physicians. This position leads through sharing knowledge, motivation and engages the self-pay team and vendors Center team to provide high quality services, which meet or exceed customer expectations. Collaborates with members of the team, identifies departmental and business unit priorities, establishes goals and implements strategies designed to maximize reimbursement for the Health System and fosters a culture of innovation, employee engagement, and exceptional business performance. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: + Bachelors degree in in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields preferred. + Three years management experience with healthcare accounts receivable preferred. + Knowledge of best practices related to revenue cycle operations and day-to-day functionality. + Knowledge of CPT and diagnosis coding and Third Party billing regulations preferred. + Experience at a large, complex, integrated healthcare organization preferred. + Experience with insurance billing, patient accounting systems and other related applications preferred. + Communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff. + Ability to manage, coordinates, and leads simultaneously. + Ability to estimate time frames and meet projected deadlines. + Ability to work with a variety of individuals in executive, managerial and staff level positions. + Ability to work independently. + Ability to understand and lead change. + Goal oriented, exceptional interpersonal skills, change management and political skill. #LI-VD1 Additional Information + Organization: Corporate Services + Department: CBO - Self Pay + Shift: Day Job + Union Code: Not Applicable Additional Details This posting represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
