What you will be doing 

The Information Technology Department has an opening for a Service and Delivery Manager overseeing the Retail Stores based in and around Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho and some backstage responsibilities. The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's information technology infrastructure, systems, and policies. The role involves leading a team of IT professionals to ensure that the company's technology needs are met and aligned with business objectives. 
 
The manager's responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations of this vital team, balancing the workload of the technicians in addition to in-person related tasks and remote asks. 
 
The position will be based in Missoula, MT. 

 

Main responsibilities 

Manage Local I.T. Field Service Employees within the Montana Area  Schedule support staff for service and delivery projects.  Manage day to day service levels of I.T. equipment repairs.  Maintain and Monitor Service Level Agreements and Related Resource Analytics  Responsible for Lifecycle Management Program of Related Assets (inc. Inventory Control and Disposition)  Collaborate with Other Teams within the IT Organization on Related Projects and Implementations  Provide high level of customer service for backstage equipment (PCs, Laptops, Printers, and wireless technologies at district offices in Missoula and Billings Montana.  Ensure timely completion of all requests for new equipment, new hire set ups, and other associated activities.  Identify and Drive Organizational Change and Process Optimization Opportunities  Provide technical guidance and support to other departments within the company.  Manage projects related to the implementation of new systems and technology. 

 

What we are searching for  

•Minimum 4 years' experience in an IT or Business Management role; Project Management experience also desired. 

•Minimum 5+ years' experience with Information Technology environment and related Service Delivery (including Support). 

•Bachelor's Degree preferred. 

•Customer Service Focus: Retail/Backstage IT Experience Preferred 

•Understanding of Albertsons Companies I.T. Infrastructure, Standards, and Methodology. 

•Exceptional Communication skills (written and oral), customer service skills, and problem-solving skills. 

•Strong interpersonal skills. 

•Excellent Project Management skills and delegation skills. 

•Excellent organizational skills. 

•Ability to manage work details and enhance Teamwork. 

•Strong interpersonal communication skills and genuine desire to provide superior customer service 

•Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous initiatives to which they will apply their applicable business,     technical and system functionality background 

•1-2 years of management experience or equivalent 
•Ability to multi-task with competing priorities. 
•Developing organizational experience. 
•Good organizational and technical skills to support team needs. 
•Experience leading team projects for planning, delivery and execution 
•Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. 
•Calm demeanor and ability to manage in high stress situations. 
•Able to think strategically and conceptually while managing details. 
•Able to work independently and be a strong team player. 
•Strong self-initiative 

•Some travel required (Up to 60%)
