Primary Responsibilities:
Provide technology leadership to a solid engineering team Come up with long term architecture roadmap for the existing products Develops pioneering approaches to emerging technology and industry trends Define, use and communicate design patterns and best practices Provide technology leadership to the team. Mentor and guide them whenever required Communicate with internal and external business partners. Should be able to handle Onshore/Offshore model Act as the liaison between Business and Developers and project management groups Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution Participation in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc. Closely working Business Teams, Onshore partners, deployment and infrastructure teams Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related STEM discipline with10 Years of Software engineering experience 3+ years of working experience on Cloud technologies 2+ years working experience in set up or maintenance of CI/CD pipeline (test, build, deployment and monitoring automation) 2+ years of working experience in Cloud application development / micro-services architecture and deployments 2+ years of working experience on AWS/or AZURE - Experience of at least one application migration to Cloud platform Experience in multiple application and web servers (J2EE tech stack, JBoss/Tomcat/WebSphere) Experience with Containers, Kubernetes, Terraform Hands-on implementation experience, should be able to design, implement key product features, be an active part of an Agile Scrum team Experience working with SAST and DAST methodologies and tools (e.g. HP Fortify, Whitehat, Webinspect) Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Significant experience in designing solutions Investigate common security vulnerabilities, their causes and implementations to fix the same Proven excellent in design thinking and approach to solve business problem by applying suitable technologies (cost efficient, high performance, resilient and scalable) Deep understanding on design principal of Cloud Architecture Proven good technical skills to understand complex designs, implement big and complex systemsAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
